That Question .. ?WHY HEMP?

Hemp & Hops are family .. why not!

Crazy experimentsBY THE TRUE CONNOISSEURS

Brewing Beer traditionally involves the use of Hops, Malt and Yeasts. The Hops contributes bitterness, flavour, and aroma to the Beer.

Hops (Humulus lupulus) and Hemp (Cannabis sativa) belong to the same plant family, Cannabaceae, and of the higher order Urticales.

This got us thinking, why not see how Hemp behaves when used as a substitute for Hops or, in conjunction with Hops.

What we discovered was, the yeasts loved the proteins in the Hemp and at the right percentage, the Hemp complimented the flavours of traditional Beers. However, not all Beers carried the unique, hemp flavours and aromas and it took a few attempts to find the right ones, but we think we’ve nailed it .. you be the judge!

We use actual Hemp in the brewing process. We do not add terpenes and/or flavanoids.

The Hemp creates a creamy mouthfeel, adding to the enjoyability and drinkability of the Beer. It also imparts a nutty taste, which balances well with the bitterness in the Beer.

What we have are genuine Beers – not health drinks. Yes, they contain hemp which is nutritious and good for you, but they are regular Beers with an alcohol content. When you overindulge, Non Blonde Beers will make you tipsy .. as Beers do, but they will not make you high!

IT'S HEMP, SO ..

No CBD and/or THC in the Beers.
We’re not using the flowers in the brewing process.
